Ze! (spreek uit: Zee) is een excentrieke electropop- en dirtydisco-zangeres uit Kuala Lumpur, Maleisië. Denk Madonna, MIA, Santogold, Roisin Murphy en The New Young Pony Club. De Kuala Lumpuriaanse heeft een uiteenlopende, experimentele muziekachtergrond. Ze is begonnen als rapper in een RnB-trio en mixte voor haar solo-album poëzie, hiphop en drum ‘n’ bass. In 2005 bracht ze het album ‘Shameless’ uit, opgenomen in Australië, waarin ze electro met etnische muziek mixt. Ze zou na haar optreden in Delft op het Lovedancefestival in Amsterdam staan. Maar dat is gecancelled, dus Ciccionina is de plek om haar te zien in Nederland. Energiebom Ze! neemt je mee naar haar wereld gezien door neonroze bril. Hello Disco!

From TV commercials by international brands like McDonald’s, Toyota and Pizza Hut, electropop songstress Ze! (pronounced zay) has come a long way and from a very experimental musical background. Starting out as a rapper in an RnB girl trio, Ze! released a first solo EP ‘My Make-Believe’ back in 2003 that saw her producing material from poetry to hiphop and DnB.
